Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- chopped tomatoes - 4 item
- bacon bits - 9 slices
- green bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- to 1 head lettuce - 1/2 item
- to 10-inch cooked cornbread - 8 item
- onion, chopped red for color - 1 item
How to make cornbread salad:
Take cooked, cooled cornbread; crumble into a 9 x 12-inch bowl. Layer tomatoes, pepper, onion, lettuce and bacon. Topping: Take the mayonnaise and sour cream. Spread over top of salad. Top with cheese and garnish with a few bacon crumbs. RefrigeraRecipe categories: < 60 mins, Breads, Salads.
