Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- cooked rice - 1 c
- medium bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
- egg beaten - 1 item
- large can whole kernel corn, drained - 1 item
- small jar pimento - 1 item
- large can creamed corn - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese for topping - 1 item
How to make corn casserole:
Saute onion in margarine. Add drained whole kernel corn, creamed corn, bell pepper, pimentos, rice, sugar and egg. Season to taste. Pour into greased, shallow pan and cover with grated cheese. Bake until bubbly at 350°. Serves 8 to 10.Recipe categories: Side dish, Corn, Casseroles.
