- yellow cornmeal - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- milk
- salt - 3/4 tsp
How to make corn bread:
Mix together cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt. Add beaten eggs and sugar, then add butter and milk. Mix together well and pour into a 9 x 13-inch buttered pan. Bake at 375° until golden brown.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Southern u.s..
