  • sugar - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 1 item
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • dry yeast - 1 cake
  • melted oil - 1 Tbsp

How to make cloverleaf rolls:

Heat buttermilk (do not boil). Drop in yeast cake or dry yeast and let dissolve. Add oil and mix. Add salt and sugar. Sift in flour as needed and knead at the same time. Add flour to make up a good dough. Knead well. Pinch off 3 small balls (English walnut size). Roll in hands, then place in muffin tin. Let rise. Bake at 425° until well browned.
