Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 6 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- ketchup - 1 c
- parsley - 1 tsp
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- carrots, diced - 4 item
- Old Bay seasoning - 1 tsp
- cans tomato soup - 2 1/2
- medium potatoes, diced - 4 item
- cans chopped clams - 2 item
- sticks celery, sliced - 2 item
How to make clam chowder:
All all ingredients except clams in a 6-quart pot. Cook vegetables until tender. Add clams and juice last. Simmer 15 minutes, then serve. Makes 8 servings.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Clams.
