Cinnamon rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 5 6
- stick margarine - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- water
- margarine - 1/4 c
- warm water - 1/2 c
- white sugar - 1/4 c
- yeast - 2 pkg
- cinnamon to taste - 1 item
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- white corn syrup
- vanilla pudding not instant - 1 pkg
How to make cinnamon rolls:
Topping:1 1/2 Tbsp. white corn syrup1/2 c. brown sugar1/4 c. white sugar1 1/2 Tbsp. water1/4 c. margarine Cook pudding and milk until thick. Add one stick margarine. Let cool. Dissolve 2 packages of yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Beat 2 eggs. Add pudding mixture and yeast. Add 1 teaspoon salt. Add 5 to 6 cups flour; let rise double. Divide in half. Roll out thin. Spread with melted margarine and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture (be generous) and roll up. Cut with thread about 2-inches thick. Put in buttered pan. Bake at 350° until light brown.Topping: Bring ingredients to a boil and spoon over warm rolls. Pecans may be added to topping.
