Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- Crisco - 3 Tbsp
- soy sauce
- chopped onions - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- diced celery
- can bean sprouts - 1 item
- hamburger or sausage - 1 lb
How to make chop suey:
Thickening Mixture:3 Tbsp. soy sauce3 Tbsp. cornstarch2 Tbsp. cornstarch Heat Crisco in skillet and add meat. Cook slightly, then add onions, celery, water and salt and pepper. Continue cooking until meat is done and vegetables are just tender.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Time to make, Main dish.
