Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 4 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- cooking oil - 3/4 c
- plain flour - 2 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 lb
- Icing:1 stick butter
How to make chocolate brownie cake:
Icing:1 stick butter3 Tbsp. cocoa1 Tbsp. vanilla4 Tbsp. milk1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar Stir together sugar and flour in large bowl. Mix water, butter, oil and cocoa in saucepan. Bring to boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour hot mixture over sugar and flour. Mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda and salt. Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.While cake is baking, prepare icing by bringing first four ingredients to a boil. Add powdered sugar and mix with wooden spoon until all dry ingredients are absorbed. Spread over cake immediately after cake is removed from oven.
