Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/3 c
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- melted oleo - 4 Tbsp
- chopped rhubarb - 1 to
- coconut, orange peel, or nuts optional - 1 item
How to make rhubarb cake:
Topping:2/3 c. flour1/2 c. brown sugar4 Tbsp. melted oleo Sift together flour, sugar, soda and cinnamon. Beat eggs, milk and oil. Add flour (mix a little at a time and beat.) Add rhubarb and a little water. May add coconut, orange peel, or nuts. Pour into greased 9 x 18-inch pan. Add topping. Add to top of cake and bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
