  • chopped onion - 1 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • sliced mushroom - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • cooked rice - 1 c
  • diced celery - 1 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • mayonnaise - 3/4 c
  • chicken broth - 1 c
  • can water chestnuts, drained and sliced - 4 oz
  • butter or margarine
  • corn flakes - 1 c
  • slivered almonds - 1/2 c

How to make chinese chicken casserole:

Topping:1/2 c. butter or margarine1 c. corn flakes1/2 c. slivered almonds Mix all ingredients and put in a 2-quart casserole dish. Top with melted butter, tossed with almonds and corn flakes; sprinkle over casserole and bake 30 minutes at 350
