Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 4 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- soy sauce - 1 tsp
- chicken broth - 2 c
- white pepper - 1 tsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- sliced mushrooms - 2 c
- Accent - 1 tsp
- hot oil - 1 c
- water chestnuts - 1 c
- pea pods - 2 c
- raw chicken breast 2-inch strip - 2 c
How to make chinese chicken:
Saute chicken in hot oil 5 minutes each side. Add pea pods, mushrooms and water chestnuts. Cook uncovered for 7 minutes. Stir often. Season with all seasons; thicken chicken broth with cornstarch. Add other ingredients. Cook until thickened. Sprinkle top with fresh cut green onions or slivered almonds. Serve with rice.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Whole chicken.
