Sweet and sour chicken wings
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 1/2 c
- water - 1/4 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- beaten egg - 1 item
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- soy sauce - 1 tsp
- catsup - 1/2 c
- chicken broth - 1/4 c
- Accent optional - 1/2 tsp
- to 14 wings - 12 item
How to make sweet and sour chicken wings:
Beat egg. Mix cornstarch and garlic. Heat the oil; dip wings into egg, then put in the cornstarch and garlic mixture. Fry in oil.Place wings in single layer on foil-lined cookie sheet. Boil broth, water, catsup, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, salt and Accent for about 5 minutes. Pour sauce over wings and bake at 375° for 40 minutes. Turn wings over once during baking time.
