  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • cornstarch - 1/2 c
  • water - 1/4 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 1/2 c
  • beaten egg - 1 item
  • garlic powder - 1 tsp
  • soy sauce - 1 tsp
  • catsup - 1/2 c
  • chicken broth - 1/4 c
  • Accent optional - 1/2 tsp
  • to 14 wings - 12 item

How to make sweet and sour chicken wings:

Beat egg. Mix cornstarch and garlic. Heat the oil; dip wings into egg, then put in the cornstarch and garlic mixture. Fry in oil.

Place wings in single layer on foil-lined cookie sheet. Boil broth, water, catsup, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, salt and Accent for about 5 minutes. Pour sauce over wings and bake at 375° for 40 minutes. Turn wings over once during baking time.
