Chili egg puff
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 10 item
- creamed cottage cheese - 1 pt
- Jack cheese, shredded - 1 lb
- can chiles, chopped - 1 oz
- medium jar picante sauce optional topping - 1 item
- unsifted flour - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
How to make chili egg puff:
In a large bowl, beat eggs until light (yellow color). Add all ingredients, except chiles. Beat until smooth. Stir in chiles. Pour into buttered 13 x 9-inch pan and bake at 350° for about 35 minutes or until top is brown and center will be firm. Spoon picante sauce on top.
