Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 10 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- butter or oleo - 1/2 c
- small curd cottage cheese - 1 lb
- cans green chilies - 2 oz
- Jack cheese, shredded Monterey - 1 lb
How to make chili egg puff:
Beat eggs until light and lemon colored. Add flour, baking powder, salt, cottage cheese, Jack cheese and melted butter. Blend until smooth. Stir in chiles. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes, until top is brown and center firm. Serves 4 people. Breakfast or lunch.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
