Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- water - 2 4
- shortening - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 3 Tbsp
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- small cans tomato sauce - 2 item
- cloves garlic, chopped fine - 2 item
- lean ground meat - 1 lb
- chili meat - 1 lb
- red pepper to your taste - 1 item
How to make chili:
Melt shortening. Saute onion and garlic. Add meat. Let turn grey. Stir in flour, then add to the remaining ingredients in a small heavy pot. Cook on low heat for 3 to 4 hours.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chili.
