Ingredients/Components
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 2 lb
- chili powder - 8 tsp
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- hamburger meat - 2 lb
- oil - 6 Tbsp
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- pepper
- salt - 1 tsp
- tortillas - 24 item
- water - 4 c
How to make enchiladas:
Brown flour and chili powder in oil. Stir in water gradually. Simmer for 30 minutes. Brown hamburger meat and onion. Season with salt, pepper and garlic salt.Dip tortillas in chili powder mixture until softened. Fill center of tortillas with hamburger meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Roll; place in baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top. Pour chili powder mixture over enchiladas. Bake at 350° until cheese is melted. Serve hot.
