  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • oil - 3 Tbsp
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • salt and pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • whole chicken breasts, cut in half - 3 item
  • dry white wine optional - 1/4 c

How to make chicken supreme:

Preheat oven to 375°. On waxed paper, coat breasts with flour. In a 12-inch skillet on medium-high heat in hot vegetable oil, cook chicken until lightly browned on all sides.

Meanwhile, in shallow 3-quart casserole, mix wine, soup (undiluted), salt and pepper. Arrange chicken in mixture and spoon mixture over chicken to coat it. Bake for 30 minutes, uncovered.

Can be made ahead. Reheat in oven or microwave. Also can be frozen and reheated.
