Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter or margarine - 6 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 7 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- cubed cooked chicken - 2 3
- scant dried crushed rosemary or poultry seasoning - 1/4 tsp
- chicken broth or 3 chicken bouillon cubes and 3 c
How to make chicken pie:
Cook onion in butter until tender; blend in flour and seasonings. Stir in broth and cook until thick and bubbly. Add vegetables and chicken. Heat until bubbly. Cool. Put in casserole and top with pastry crust. Bake at 400° until browned.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Meat.
