Ingredients/Components
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- sweet milk - 3/4 c
- chicken stock or broth
- stick melted margarine - 1 item
- can celery soup - 1 item
- sifted, self-rising flour - 1 c
- whole fryer, cooked and deboned - 1 item
How to make chicken pie:
Cut up chicken in a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex dish. Pour stock over chicken. Add soup, salt and pepper to taste.Mix flour, margarine and milk together for batter. Pour over chicken. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until brown.
