Chicken parmesan
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 2 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- shredded Mozzarella - 1 item
- chicken parts - 2 lb
- Italian-flavored bread crumbs - 1/2 c
How to make chicken parmesan:
Beat egg in 1 tablespoon of water; roll chicken in egg mixture, then tumble in crumbs. Brown chicken in shortening; pour off fat. Stir in soup, 1/4 cup water, onion and seasonings. Cook over low heat for 45 minutes or until done. Stir occasionally.Sprinkle with cheese. Heat until cheese melts. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
