Chicken parmesan
Ingredients/Components
- oil - 1/4 c
- stick butter - 1/4 item
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- cans tomato sauce - 2 item
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 item
- boneless chicken breasts - 4 item
How to make chicken parmesan:
Flatten chicken breasts to 1/2-inch thickness. Dip each breast in the egg and lightly coat with bread crumbs. Brown in oil and transfer to a baking dish. In a saucepan, combine tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce and butter. Simmer for 20 minutes. Pour over chicken and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake, covered, at 325° for 45 minutes. Remove cover and top chicken with Mozzarella cheese. Serve with pasta if desired.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
