Chicken or pork adobo
Ingredients/Components
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- cloves garlic - 6 item
- bay leaves - 3 item
- ground pepper - 1 tsp
- whole chicken, cut up into 12 pieces - 1 item
- inch square ginger, cut up in strips - 1 item
How to make chicken or pork adobo:
Wash chicken pieces; remove skin. Mix all of the ingredients in a large skillet. Cook on high-medium until boiling. Remove froth when boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low. Continue to cook until meat is tender (approximately 45 minutes). Do not let skillet dry out. Serve with rice. Serves 6.May use pork instead of chicken.
