Ingredients/Components
- boiled chicken, deboned - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- Pepperidge Farm cornbread mix - 1 pkg
- boiled eggs - 3 item
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- large onion optional - 1 item
- chicken broth - 2 c
How to make chicken casserole:
Melt margarine and saute onion. Mix cornbread mix and eggs with onion and stir. Place layer of cornbread mix in baking dish, then place deboned chicken on top of cornbread mix. Mix soups and broth and pour over chicken and cornbread mix. Sprinkle rest of cornbread mix on top and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Chicken breast.
