Chicken and broccoli
Ingredients/Components
- boneless chicken, cut into small strips - 1 lb
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- to 2 onions, cut into strips - 1 item
- broccoli florets amount your choice - 4 5
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- chicken bouillon - 1 c
- soy sauce - 2 3
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
How to make chicken and broccoli:
In wok or deep skillet, saute salted and peppered chicken in margarine until lightly browned. Add onions and saute 2 to 3 minutes more. Mix cornstarch in a cup of cold water and pour over chicken. Add bouillon and simmer until thick and bubbly. If it seems too thick, add a little water. If too thin, add cornstarch in some cold water and add to chicken. Add broccoli and soy sauce and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes. Ready to serve.Option: You may add some thinly sliced carrots, celery or water chestnuts, just always let broccoli be last ingredient.
