Ingredients/Components

  • lean ground beef - 1 lb
  • crescent rolls - 1 pkg
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • salt
  • can sliced mushrooms - 1 item
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • slices American cheese - 6 item
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • paprika to taste - 1 item

How to make beef stroganoff casserole:

Separate rolls while cold; let warm to room temperature, then press them into the bottom and sides of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Brown beef; add onion and simmer until tender. Add paprika, salt and pepper. Let sour cream warm to room temperature. Add sour cream and mushrooms to beef mixture; mix well. Spread into pan. Place slices of cheese on top of mixture. Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly.
