Beef stroganoff casserole
Ingredients/Components
- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- crescent rolls - 1 pkg
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- salt
- can sliced mushrooms - 1 item
- sour cream - 1 c
- slices American cheese - 6 item
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- paprika to taste - 1 item
How to make beef stroganoff casserole:
Separate rolls while cold; let warm to room temperature, then press them into the bottom and sides of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Brown beef; add onion and simmer until tender. Add paprika, salt and pepper. Let sour cream warm to room temperature. Add sour cream and mushrooms to beef mixture; mix well. Spread into pan. Place slices of cheese on top of mixture.
