Ingredients/Components
- oleo - 1/2 c
- stalk celery, chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- cream of chicken soup - 1 c
- fryer, cut up - 1 item
- uncooked rice - 2 c
- soup can water - 1 item
- tomatoes, cooked - 1 c
- garlic bud, diced - 1 item
How to make chicken and rice casserole:
Saute pepper, celery, onion and garlic in oleo. Add rice and tomatoes. Spoon into casserole. Arrange fryer pieces on top of rice. Combine soup and water; pour over rice and chicken. Bake, uncovered, in a 300° oven for 1 hour. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
