Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • can cherry pie filling - 1 item
  • oleo - 1 c
  • powdered sugar glaze or whipped topping - 1 item

How to make cherry squares:

Grease and flour 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan. Combine oleo and sugar; cream together. Add eggs and beat well. Stir in flour gradually. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour into pan. Score into 24 sections. Spoon 2 to 3 cherries into each section. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Remove. Drizzle with glaze or serve with topping.
