sugar
eggs - 4 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
flour - 3 c
butter - 1/2 c
baking powder
can cherry pie filling - 1 item
margarine - 1/2 c
butter flavoring - 1/4 tsp
almond flavoring - 1/2 tsp

How to make cherry squares:

Cream butter, margarine, butter flavoring, almond flavoring and vanilla together Add sugar and beat well. Add eggs, one at a time.

In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture and beat until smooth. Save over one cup of the batter. Spread the remaining batter in an 11 x 17 pan. Spread 1 can cherry pie filling over the batter. Spoon remaining batter in small islands over filling. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
