Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- margarine - 1 c
- lemon or orange extract - 1 tsp
How to make cherry squares:
Cream margarine and sugar. Blend in eggs and flavoring. Add flour. Spread on large cookie sheet or jelly roll pan. Cut through batter to make squares. Spoon pie filling into each square. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes until light brown. Batter puffs up around filling.
