Cheese potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- Velveeta cheese - 1/4 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- chopped parsley - 1 tsp
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- potatoes, peeled and cubed - 8 item
- milk or 1 can evaporated milk - 1 qt
How to make cheese potato soup:
Cover potatoes and onion with water. Boil until soft. Mix the flour with the milk. Add the milk, cheese, butter and chopped parsley to potatoes and heat until very hot but not boiling. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Makes 8 servings.Recipe categories: Cheese, Soups & stews, Main dish.
