Cheese and corn chowder
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 10 oz
- milk - 3 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- ground red pepper - 1/8 tsp
- instant chicken bouillon granules - 2 tsp
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- shredded American cheese - 6 oz
- dash of black pepper - 1 item
- medium potatoes, peeled and chopped - 3 item
How to make cheese and corn chowder:
In a large saucepan, combine potatoes, water, bouillon, red and black pepper. Simmer until potatoes are tender. Add 2 1/2 cups milk and corn.In a small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup milk and flour, add to potato mixture and stir on medium heat until slightly thick. Add cheese; stir until melted.
Spoon into bowls; top each with parsley. Makes 4 main dish servings.
