Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 10 oz
  • milk - 3 c
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1 c
  • ground red pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • instant chicken bouillon granules - 2 tsp
  • parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • shredded American cheese - 6 oz
  • dash of black pepper - 1 item
  • medium potatoes, peeled and chopped - 3 item

How to make cheese and corn chowder:

In a large saucepan, combine potatoes, water, bouillon, red and black pepper. Simmer until potatoes are tender. Add 2 1/2 cups milk and corn.

In a small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup milk and flour, add to potato mixture and stir on medium heat until slightly thick. Add cheese; stir until melted.

Spoon into bowls; top each with parsley. Makes 4 main dish servings.
