Salmon chowder
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 4 c
- butter or margarine - 4 Tbsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- evaporated milk - 1 can
- water - 1 c
- instant chicken bouillon granules - 2 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- red salmon, bones and skin removed - 1 can
How to make salmon chowder:
Saute onion in Dutch oven until transparent. Add water and broccoli. Simmer until broccoli is tender. Add salmon and bouillon granules. Combine evaporated milk, flour and milk. Season to taste. Heat until chowder thickens slightly. Yields 8 servingsRecipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Chowders.
