Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- Wesson oil
- eggs - 4 item
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- soda - 2 tsp
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- mace - 1 tsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- Add eggs; beat well
- pkg - 1 oz
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- lemon extract - 1 tsp
How to make carrot cake:
Mix sugar and oil together. Add eggs; beat well. Sift dry ingredients together. Add carrots and nuts; beat well. Bake in 3 greased and floured cake pans for 25 to 35 minutes at 350°.Icing:1/2 stick oleo1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 lb. powdered sugar1 c. chopped pecans1 tsp. lemon extract Cream together the ingredients.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
