Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- soda - 2 tsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- salad oil
- lemon extract - 1 tsp
- Add well beaten eggs and mix well
How to make carrot cake:
Mix sugar and salad oil together. Add well beaten eggs and mix well. Combine dry ingredients and stir in mix until smooth. Add chopped pecans and grated carrots. Bake in three greased and floured 9-inch layer pans at 325° for about 30 minutes.Frosting:1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1/2 stick margarine1 tsp. lemon extract Mix all ingredients together until smooth and spread on cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
