Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- vinegar - 2 c
- small jar pimentos - 1 item
- celery seed - 2 tsp
- onions, sliced - 2 item
- mustard seed - 2 tsp
- squash, sliced - 12 item
- bell peppers, sliced - 2 item
How to make pickled squash:
Soak squash, peppers, onion and pimentos in ice water for 1 hour. Bring to boil vinegar, sugar and spices. Drain squash and other ingredients. Add in vinegar mixture and bring to a boil. Place in jars and seal.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Squash.
