Ingredients/Components

  • packed brown sugar - 1 c
  • milk - 1/4 c
  • confectioners sugar - 2 c
  • margarine - 1/2 c

How to make caramel icing:

Melt butter in saucepan. Mix in brown sugar. Stir over low heat 2 minutes. Add milk. Heat until boiling. Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm. Stir in confectioners sugar. Spread onto cake.
