Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk
- stick butter - 1 item
- sugar white - 4 c
- sugar, browned in iron skillet - 1 c
How to make caramel icing:
Boil milk and sugar, then add browned sugar to boiling mixture. Add butter and flavoring. Boil until soft ball stage when tested in cold water. Let cool, then beat until of spreading consistency.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
