Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 1 c
- popped corn - 6 qt
- light Karo syrup - 1/2 c
How to make caramel corn:
Boil together 5 minutes the brown sugar, syrup, salt and margarine. Stir while boiling. Remove from heat and add vanilla and baking soda. Grease pan. Pour over corn and mix. Spread in pan and bake at 200° for 1 hour. Cool and package.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
