Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- corn syrup - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1 c
- popped corn - 7 qt
How to make caramel corn:
Cook brown sugar, margarine, corn syrup and salt in a saucepan for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour over popcorn, tossing well. Spread on greased baking sheet. Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Stir while cooling. Store in airtight container.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
