Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- popped corn - 6 qt
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- syrup - 1/2 c
How to make caramel corn:
Combine brown sugar, cream of tartar, syrup and oleo together. Boil for 5 minutes. Add baking soda. After foaming stops, pour over popcorn and mix. Pour onto 2 cookie sheets; press down. Bake at 200° for 1 hour. Store in tightly covered container. Makes 6 quarts.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
