  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • baking soda - 1/2 Tbsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • popped corn - 6 qt
  • cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
  • white syrup Karo - 1/2 c

How to make caramel corn:

Boil brown sugar, white syrup, margarine, cream of tartar and salt 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add baking soda and stir down. Pour over popped corn. Stir corn to cover all. Put corn on cookie sheet. Put in oven and bake 1 hour at 200°.
