French breakfast puffs
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 2 Tbsp
- sugar - 1/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- biscuit mix - 2 c
How to make french breakfast puffs:
Combine biscuit mix, 1/4 cup sugar and next 4 ingredients in bowl. Beat vigorously with a spoon for 30 seconds. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Roll immediately in melted butter and mixture of 2/3 cup sugar and cinnamon. Serve hot. Yields 12 medium muffins.Recipe categories: Breads, Lunch/snacks, Breakfast.
