Caramel popcorn
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- margarine - 1 c
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- popped corn - 6 qt
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
How to make caramel popcorn:
In large pan, combine brown sugar, syrup, margarine, salt and cream of tartar and bring to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes; remove from heat. Add baking soda; beat down. Pour over popcorn. Stir until all corn is covered. Spread popcorn onto 2 greased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated oven at 200° for 1 hour.
