Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- dark brown sugar - 1/2 c
- stick melted butter - 1 item
- white corn syrup - 1/4 c
- unpopped corn - 1/2 c
How to make caramel corn:
Pop corn in air popper. Place into brown paper bag. In large bowl mix corn syrup, brown sugar, salt and melted butter. Cook in microwave on High for 4 minutes. Stir once. Add soda and vanilla; stir well. Pour caramel over popcorn and mix with a long wooden spoon. Fold top of bag over place in microwave. Cook 1 1/2 minutes on High. Pour onto large sheet pan and cool.
