Cinnamon sticks
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 3 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- margarine - 1 c
- beaten egg yolk - 1 item
- egg white, beaten stiff - 1 item
How to make cinnamon sticks:
Preheat the oven to 300°. Cream the margarine and sugar. Add beaten egg yolk. Sift flour and cinnamon together and add to above mixture. Spread thinly on a large cookie sheet. Press chopped pecans into dough. Spread beaten egg white over the top. Bake for 1 hour. Do not cook until brown or they will taste scorched.
