Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- white Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- sticks butter - 2 item
How to make caramel corn:
Pop 6 quarts of popcorn and set aside. Bring butter, brown sugar, salt and Karo syrup to a boil, stirring constantly for 5 minutes; then add vanilla and soda. Pour over popcorn, mixing well; then place on cookie sheets and bake in oven at 250° for 1 hour. Take out and stir at 15 minute intervals.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
