Ingredients/Components
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- light brown sugar - 2 c
- white corn syrup - 1/2 c
- popped corn, lightly salted - 16 c
How to make caramel corn:
Mix ingredients well except soda and popcorn. Dissolve over low heat. Boil for 5 minutes on medium-high heat. Remove from heat and add soda. Pour over popcorn and mix well. Put in oven at 250° for 30 minutes, stirring every few minutes. Pour onto cookie sheets. Let cool.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
