Ingredients/Components

  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • catsup - 1/2 c
  • prepared mustard - 1 tsp
  • slices bacon - 2 item
  • can kidney beans, drained - 1 item
  • can pork and beans, drained - 1 item
  • hamburg - 1 lb
  • can lima beans, drained - 1 item

How to make calico beans:

Cube bacon and fry until crisp. Pour off fat. Add hamburg and sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Do not stir too much. Place in casserole. Cover and bake at 300° for one hour.
