Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1/2 c
  • cider vinegar - 1/4 c
  • brown sugar, packed - 1/2 c
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 2 tsp
  • chili powder - 3 Tbsp
  • tomato paste - 6 oz
  • medium onions, chopped - 2 item
  • green peppers, chopped - 2 item
  • boneless pork in 1 1/2-inch chunks

How to make barbecued pork:

Combine ingredients in Dutch oven. Heat to boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer slowly 3 hours, covered, or until pork is very tender. Skim off fat. Stir with wire whisk until meat is shredded. Salt to taste, if preferred.
