Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- catsup - 1 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- medium onion - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 item
- bacon - 1/4 lb
- can kidney beans, drained - 1 item
- can pork and beans, drained - 1 item
- can lima beans, drained - 1 item
- can yellow wax beans, drained - 1 item
How to make bean casserole:
Cut bacon in small pieces and fry together with chopped onion; drain off part of the grease. Add to beans and mix all the remaining ingredients, except cheese. Place in a large casserole with cheese. Bake 1 hour at 350°. Add cheese last 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
